How this tool works
Choose the month treatment started and the length of treatment your doctor told you. The estimator applies Rs 1,000 per month of treatment from 1 November 2024 and Rs 500 for earlier months, adds the one-time Rs 750 tribal area support if it applies, and shows a running total as of October 2026. An optional weight and height check shows whether the patient may qualify for extra food support (BMI below 18.5).

Frequently asked questions
Is this the official amount?
It uses the official rate we verified: Rs 1,000 per month of treatment from 1 November 2024. The actual instalments are set and paid by the programme through Ni-kshay.
Why might my payments differ from the estimate?
Payments are made in instalments, may be delayed, and depend on your notification and bank details being correct.
Does the tribal support apply to me?
It applies to patients under TB Units flagged as tribal in Ni-kshay, as described in the 2020 DBT manual. Ask your TB Unit.
