There are two different apps. The Ni-kshay app is for health staff who record TB patients. The TB Aarogya Sathi app is for everyone, and lets a patient see their own treatment and payments with their Ni-kshay ID.

How a patient uses TB Aarogya Sathi
Install the official app
Search for TB Aarogya Sathi on the Google Play Store and check that the publisher is the government TB programme. Avoid apps with similar names.
Log in with your Ni-kshay ID
Enter your Ni-kshay ID. An OTP is sent to the mobile number registered in your Ni-kshay record.
See your progress
Check adherence (doses recorded), treatment progress and DBT details, including payments made and due.
Use the help features
Find the nearest health facility, check your BMI, read about side effects, or call Ni-kshay Sampark on 1800-11-6666.
The OTP goes to the mobile number in your Ni-kshay record. If you changed your number, ask your health facility to update it. Nobody from the programme will ask you to tell them the OTP.
Is there a Ni-kshay app for iPhone?
The official NTEP knowledge base mentions the Google Play Store for both apps. We could not confirm an official iPhone version. On an iPhone, staff can use the Ni-kshay website in the browser, which the programme says is mobile friendly.
Beware of fake calls and websites
- Health staff never ask you to pay money to “release” a Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana payment.
- Never share an OTP, ATM PIN or bank password with anyone, even if they say they are from the TB programme.
- Give bank details only in person at your TB programme health facility, never on a call, WhatsApp or an unknown website.
- If you were cheated, call the national cyber crime helpline 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in.
