Nikshay Portal Guide is an independent website that explains India’s TB programme in plain words: the Ni-kshay portal, Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana and other support, and every step of TB care from symptoms to follow-up.
Why this site exists
People with TB and their families often struggle to find clear answers: what a Ni-kshay ID is, why a payment has not arrived, whether a side effect is serious. Official information exists but is spread across many documents written for health staff. We bring it together for patients, families, Ni-kshay Mitras, ASHAs and private doctors.
What we are not
- We are not the official Ni-kshay portal and not a government website.
- We are not connected to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Central TB Division or any state TB programme.
- We do not give medical advice, diagnose or prescribe.
- We never ask for your Ni-kshay ID, name, mobile, Aadhaar or bank details.

Every clinical and money fact on this site comes from official TB programme sources (the Central TB Division, the NTEP knowledge base, ICMR, the Health Ministry, PIB) or major medical references (WHO, CDC, NHS), and is listed with its source. Read our editorial policy and fact-checking policy.
